Akurium Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Akurium uses cookies and similar browser technologies, what they do, and the choices available to you.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use browser storage for limited preferences. In this policy, “cookies” includes these similar technologies where appropriate.

Cookies We Use

Required cookies. These cookies are necessary for Akurium to function securely. They support features such as signing in, maintaining your session, protecting forms and requests, and remembering your cookie preference. Because the service cannot operate properly without them, required cookies cannot be disabled through our cookie notice.

Optional cookies and third-party content. If you select Accept All, that allows Akurium to load video content embedded by video services such as YouTube or Vimeo. Those providers may place cookies or collect information under their own privacy and cookie policies. Akurium does not control cookies set by third parties.

Analytics. We may collect limited, aggregated information about how visitors use Akurium so we can understand site performance and improve the service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or use cookies to build advertising profiles.

Tracking and Advertising

Akurium does not use advertising trackers to follow you across unrelated websites, build a profile of your browsing activity, or deliver targeted advertising. We do not sell your browsing activity. Limited site analytics may record information such as pages viewed, general device or browser details, and approximate usage patterns, but are used to operate and improve Akurium rather than to track you for advertising purposes.

Third-party services that you choose to load, such as an embedded YouTube or Vimeo video, may collect information or use their own tracking technologies. Their practices are governed by their own policies, and you can avoid loading those services by selecting Accept Required.

How Long Cookies Remain

Some cookies last only for your browsing session and expire when the session ends. Others remain for a set period so Akurium can remember your preferences. The cookie used to remember your consent choice is set for up to one year unless you remove it sooner.

Your Choices

When the cookie notice appears, you may choose:

  • Accept Required, which permits only the cookies needed to operate Akurium; or
  • Accept All, which also permits optional third-party content and related cookies.

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out, reset your preferences, or prevent parts of Akurium from working as intended. To change a choice previously made in the cookie notice, clear Akurium’s cookies in your browser and revisit the site.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted here with its latest revision date.
