This is a completely stock "California Series" Strat from the 1990's.  Decades ago I borrowed a 1970's Strat from a friend of mine and really enjoyed playing it. When I decided to pick one up for myself I looked for one that was as similar as I could find and this is what I came up with.  Does everything you would expect a Stratocaster to do, with great playability and style.

The "California Series" guitars are made in the USA with the exception of the painting, which was done in some Fender factory in Mexico.  I believe the Fender paint line in California was shut down temporarily for some reason so they sent the bodies over the border to be painted.
